A little bit of bling

It's hard to believe i've been making jewellery for about 8 years and had never made a bracelet with elastic. Elastic seems like the place people usually start.
I do have some in my kit though 'just in case' - I was in the studio the other day and suddenly felt I had to make one. And why not.... I like bracelets myself (i'm a long standing fan of shiny and sparkly accessories) but I don't like jewellery clasps on my bracelets (except magnetic ones).

The colour of spring

Spring is technically in the air, although in Ireland we rarely seem to get much between winter and autumn! It's late March and we still have the odd snow shower, plus its brass monkies out (freezing). So when it's cold out I like to brighten up the day and inject some visual warmth with some spring colours,
Today I braved the cold studio to try out something with buttons, something a bit 'this is spring'
Now lets hope that Mother Nature decides to follow suit soon and get cheerful.
